Convincing Home Staging Statistics

So if you are not convinced already…. Here are the most recent stats…

1. Our take:  What is that impression?  A well staged home automatically gives the buyer the impression of a well-kept, well-maintained home. This stat is also important because it comes from Buyer’s agents not Selling agents.

2. What do they visualize?  Well basically this stat says a Buyer can’t imagine scale of the room or use.  That is true of most people.   An empty room is not full of possibilities, it is simply vacant of ideas!  It is the stagers job to put the visual impression of how furniture might be oriented, or how a room might be used, or a taste for how it might be accessorized to suit the market lifestyle.

3.  A Buyer comes with a checklist of wants and often prioritizes them.  If a home romances them, they tend to rearrange their list of priorities to better fit the home…

And finally….(interestingly this one includes Selling agents, which if you add to fact #1, it says even more Buying agents believe in staging than Selling agents!)
